Mark Batty Publisher (MBP) is an independent publisher of books specializing in illustrated books on the art of communication: photography, art and design, graffiti art and urban, pop culture typography and related subjects. MBP was founded in 2003 by Mark Batty, a former president of the Typographical Association Internationale (ATypI), former CEO of typography International Corporation (ITC) fonts and former editor in chief of Upper & Lower Font ITC Case Magazine (U & lc). The company is headquartered in New York and publishes about 3 new titles per month, increasing from year 2005, which issued a total of 12 titles, with the title behind a list of about 100.
